Functional description:
FlySWAT-T™ is a quick-deploy tethered balloon pan⁄tilt⁄zoom remote control real-time camera (aerostat) with 12x optical zoom that streams live aerial video locally or around the world. Each unit has three data connection options and three power options. Data connection options include streaming over cellular, Wi-Fi, or direct Ethernet connection. Power options include using the self-contained 3-hour battery, 12 vdc ground power, or 120 vac ground power.
Deploy time: 15 minutes maximum, 5 minutes if the balloon is pre-staged
Available user interfaces:
Cellular interface: Data is streamed using the included cellular air card, with local and remote users connecting directly to the camera through the Internet using remote desktop software (included) or through a proprietary web page interface. The camera alerts users periodically via text message of its IP address. View real-time camera output. Control left, right, up down, zoom, and record functions.
Wi-Fi interface: Data is streamed using the included wireless NIC card, with local users connecting directly to the camera through a ground station computer and a wireless router (both included) using remote desktop software (also included). View real-time camera output. Control left, right, up down, zoom, and record functions.
Ethernet interface: Data is transmitted directly to a ground station computer (included) using an Ethernet tether line and remote desktop software (also included). View real-time camera output. Control left, right, up down, zoom, and record functions.

*Current FAA regulations allow balloon flight to 150 feet at most locations. Flights from 150 feet to 500 feet are allowed in locations more than 5 miles from an airport, with 24 hours notice to the local FAA office. Consult your local FAA office for current regulations.
